This is the first in a four-part workshop covering the essentials you want and need to know to drink better coffee.

In this class, John will explain the steps in coffee roasting and how factors both about the bean and the environment affect the coffee roast. Then you’ll learn the cupping process, how roasters taste and come up with the flavor descriptions for their coffees, and try cupping multiple coffees to see what’s similar and different and how to find the key sensations in a coffee.

The workshop is one hour long, including hands-on cupping. Class is on April 27th at 7 PM at the Greenway Coffee Roastery, 3902 McKinney.
